Party: SUP Club – Windy Wednesday (I)

There's no getting around the fact that it's going to be a windy one this evening, our first Wednesday of 2016, but the rain should have passed so we're going to go for some resistance training anyway... Plus we might be joined by legendary British paddler and badger enthusiast, Sam Ross. It's likely to be a tough night, so only for stronger paddlers, ideally on longer boards – and it might be wise to wrap up warm too! Meeting from 6pm for a 6.20pm launch at Mill House (by the Church Road bridge, just beyond CM3 4BG – see www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z9N9RqIZx2PM.kL-b5kgjhXP8&usp=sharing). We'll aim for three locks west towards the A12 to turn at Cuton Lock, probably 6km, and hopefully back by dusk – which should surely be enough to earn dinner at the Lion in Boreham afterwards...
