PUSH’s collaboration with Berlin’s game-changing Innervisions label will continue in November when we present label co-founder Kristian Beyer from the influential duo ÂME.

Coming just a few months after our debut Innervisions gig with DIXON, the appearance by Âme will showcase the production duo’s love of lush, experimental house music infused with orchestral instrumentation, vintage synth tones and spectral vocal samples.

Kristian Beyer and Âme partner Frank Wiedemann came together in 2003 with a shared love of Chicago house and Detroit techno, and started producing seminal deep house tracks for the Sonar Kollektiv label.

In 2005, they set up the Innervisions label with co-founder Dixon. And not long after, the track Where We At - recorded with with Dixon and labelmate Henrik Schwarz - propelled Âme and the label towards the forefront of underground electronic dance music.

Through their further releases on Innervisions, such as the anthem Howling, and through their appearances at Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabric (London) and Trouw (Amsterdam), Âme have won acclaim for breaking away from established influences and songwriting habits.

It's an approach that has created something new: music that boldly combines floor-filling elements with conceptual conceits while maintaining an emotional and visceral appeal.

On Kristian Beyer's Hong Kong debut, the Âme icon will be supported by PUSH residents Frankielam, AKW and Lukas.
