Purple Tusks will bring you down to a dark, whacky place, mixing elements of Hip Hop, Rock and Funk. Born as the missing link in party music and stage craft in Melbourne, the Purple Tusks began performing their ludicrously energetic stage show in 2012, utilising fat grooves and comedic stage presence to earn them an infamous reputation amongst Melbourne's liveliest venue goers.

Now, having paid their tribute to their Melbourne home, packing out venue after venue full loyal revellers, and having shared the stage with the likes of Hamish and Andy, Frank Woodley, Zion Train and countless touring and local acts, the Purple Tusks have decided to extend their party up along the East Coast to celebrate their upcoming release.

2015 will see the debut release of the Purple Tusks self-titled EP, which is a translation of their stage show onto solid, hard tape.
