The Comedy Bothy returns for our first Inverness show of 2017!
Featuring back by popular demand Obie!
Obie has been a regular on the Scottish comedy circuit for 13 years. He has performed as a headliner, opener, compere and support act in most of the comedy clubs in Scotland including The Stand, Highlights, The State Bar, The Beehive, The Halt Bar, Breakneck Comedy, Just Laugh, and many more.
Obie has done warm up for childrens TV show Ultimate Sports day. He has also been invited to perform a solo show for four weeks at the Melbourne Comedy festival.
With special guest host Rob Kane!
Rob has two great loves in his life, Comedy and Football, but it is fair to say that he is much better at comedy than football.
His Comedy career began when he was encouraged to take part in Viv Gee’s Comedy Course in Strathclyde University. In his first year of performing he got to the final of the prestigious ‘Amused Moose’ competition and since then he has won the ‘Beat the frog’ in both Manchester and Preston, got to the final of the ‘Scottish Comedian Of The Year’ and had his own solo show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
The night will also feature comics from the Highlands and Beyond!
