Abrazame y Baila Academy invites you to a Musicality and Playfulness Workshop in Tango Vals with Maestro Marc Samuel.

Details of the Workshop:

1st session (6:30-7:45 PM) – Phrasing and Timing of Vals Movements (intermediate/advanced)
- Phrasing of the movement following the tempo, melodic line and harmony
- Timing of the circular movements, rebounds and repetitions
- Developing advanced sequences from simple steps

2nd session (8:00-9:15 PM) – Cadena (chain step) Dynamics with Various Accelerations
- Understanding the linkages forming the chain step
- Initiating the Cadenas from the inside and outside of the frame
- Timing emphasis of the Cadena movements based on the musical phrase

Fees:
1 Session: 20$
Full Workshop (2 sessions): 35$

About Marc Samuel:

Throughout his Tango journey, Mark Samuel participated and performed in diverse festivals within different parts of the world such as in Europe, Turkey and the Middle East. He also learned how to mature his technical elements and fluidity yet maintain and nurture his exclusive rhythmical style and musicality all together.

Experimenting with new techniques and structures, especially during his visits to Buenos Aires, and mixing them with his smooth connection and musical interpretation, Mark developed his own framework and style which he exhibited in various Tango festivals and is keen to transfer it to other dancers as he is currently doing in Beirut, Lebanon

The Workshop will be followed by our Monthly Milonga (Tango Bal) with DJ Marc Samuel at the Academy starting 10:00PM
