Tech Sessions is back for its third and final installment bringing you the biggest and best underground techno rave in Cairns!

Saturday the 21st November will be our maddest party yet featuring free neon face painting, an awe inspiring strobe and light show and our finest Techno and Tech House DJs.

Be prepared for fresh thumping party music from our internationally acclaimed line up with the maddest bunch of people raving it up until the early hours!

Tech Sessions wristbands will be availble in advance of the event and on the door before 11pm for just $5 (entrance will be $10 there after) so get in touch with Amy on 0499 587 674 to request yours now!

JANIC
From Perth WA; Janic has been behind the decks since the age of 17 hosting events and sharing his love of House all over Australia. His DJing career took off when he moved to the European party haven of Croatia to take up residencies at the Red Carpet in Split and Hula Hula bar in Hvar. He then went on to host the famous Pukka Up boat parties in Ibiza before returning to Australian soil for the beautiful tropics of Cairns. He’s currently the resident House and Techno DJ at the SugarHut providing fresh and pumping House guaranteed to get you on the dance floor.

DALE COOPER
Dale is a London Deep House & Tech DJ who provides a distinct dark and thumping underground sound. Currently a weekend resident at the SugarHut Cairns, he has been part of the London electronic music scene since 2012 with residencies at Deco, London and Cafe 1001’s day parties on the infamous Brick Lane in Shoreditch. Since leaving the UK in April 2015 Dale has continued to share his talent with various House and Techno events throughout Asia most recently in Kuta, Bali and on the party island Gili T.

SOUNDMAN
Soundman (Colin Roberts) is a local Warehouse Techno DJ from the beautiful village of Kuranda who began his musical career back in 2000 when he joined forces with the major outdoor party and rave organisers, the Cairns System 6, working his way from small intimate gigs to the front runner of main stage events. He has played alongside many big name DJs and producers such as Captain Tinrib (UK), Paul Glazby (UK), Madam Zu (UK), Kazu Kimura (JPN), Simon Coyle (AUS), Simon Sleeker (AUS) and Jumpin Jack (AUS). Soundman has recently expanded into the world of production and will bring you a mix of deep, percussive and acid tech!

TECTONIC
TecTonic (Ben O'Halloran) has grown up in the beautiful tropics of north Queensland and discovered his love for psychedelic music and the community surrounding it through the outstanding and unrivalled Zero Db festival. He has been DJing since 2014 and has recently began his journey into production with tunes and sets ranging from 125bpm to 138bpm. He's played at various local parties and supported Alice Space Doll with the Locally Hosted Crew.

HOTCH
Hotch a UK DJ and promoter now resident in Cairns has been behind the For The Love Of House brand throwing underground House music events for over a year. He knows how to throw a party and more importantly knows his music! He's a Tech House lover with a record bag full of beats from the likes of Patrick Topping to Volkoder.

CILLA
Cilla is the only female DJ on the line up and most definitely rocks it for all the ladies out there! Her love of music began in the early 2000s whilst she was living in Japan and she developed her DJing skills soaking up sounds and inspiration from her years of world travel and three cold, cold winters in London! Cilla has now built a reputation in Cairns through her residency at the Salt House Bar & Restaurant where she showcases her groovy sound and treasured Vinyl. She is definitely one to watch getting involved with more and more club nights and events and flying the flag for Propa Promotions which host some of the best artists in the Electronic music world right here in Cairns.
