Is RockSoc missing that certain something? Think you could do a better job of running it? Want to leave your impression on one of the oldest, and certainly the loudest, society in St Andrews?

Of course you do! And we need you to run for committee posts. The RockSoc committee are a friendly bunch who work together to keep the society running. An EGM is your chance to get your own little part of that committee.

Don't feel like running? That's fine because we need you to exercise your democracy by voting for the candidates who do take the stand. What's the reward I here you ask? Well how better to celebrate democracy than.........

This applies to anyone with membership. If you're not a member you should become one at the very fair rate of £3.

Remember: THE ELECTIONS START AT 11:30 ; DURING THE ELECTION PROCESS NO-ONE CAN BE ALLOWED IN TO THE VOTING AREA. (so get there before and get your free card).

Now for those who feel like standing, the positions available are:

+ Subhonours Rep: We're all old bastards and need young blood to let us know what the new folks want! It'll be your job to relay that info to us. Easiest job on committee.

+ Webitor: Are you a tech guru? You don't need to be! If you can use Facebook, you can be Webitor - but if you are gifted with the ways of the web then that opens up a lot of potential doors.

Not just do committee positions look darling on a CV, it's a lot of fun too - take it from me (President Harrison).
