What are they?
Through the summer months of June, July and August we have selected 16 of our clubs to host 12 weekly Club Championship qualifiers to produce 12 weekly winners. The 12 winners will also battle it out for the title of Club Champion in an exclusive Club Final in the 13th week.
The top 4 players per club will then battle it out in the Rileys Darts Club Championships National Final in September 2015. This will be a black tie, gala event, the highlight of the Riley’s darts calendar and produce arguable the Club GB champion!
The total prize money of £22,340 is the biggest outside of the PDC Calendar!
When?
The first qualifier will take place Friday 5th June, the last qualifier will take place on 21st August.
The Club Final will then take place on 28th August. The National Final will be in Wolverhampton on Saturday 5th September.
Cost to enter?
Entry of £5 per player on the night.
Members do not have to commit to the whole 12 weeks, they can commit week by week on an ad-hoc basis.
Entry is IN CLUB ONLY. No online booking. There will be a £5 entry fee on your till to process on the night entries.
Prizes?
Each weekly qualifier has a guaranteed prize fund of £100.
Winner receives £75 and the runner up gets £25. Players on the night will pay £5 to enter.
The Club Final has no cash prize just the title of Club Champion and a shield will be supplied for you to have the players name etched on. We will also supply some bottled beer to give out the finalists.
The National Final has a separate prize fund of £3140 broken down as follows.
Winner £1000
Runner up £500
Losing Semi Finalists £100 each
Losing Quarter Finalists £50 each
Last 16 £25 each
Last 32 £20 each
Note: No expenses or costs will be paid to any player.
What is the format?
501 straight start, double finish.
Best of 7 legs all the way.
In the first round of matches the bottom of the draw will mark the first set of matches. Thereafter losing players must mark, failure to do so may result in them being banned from future Riley's Darts Events.
Rules to note:
1. There are no age restrictions on the qualifiers.(excluding Victoria)
2. All qualifiers are classed as an “Open Event” meaning PDC and BDO players can enter.
3. Once a person has won a Qualifier they are banned from entering any further qualifiers.
