Lead by charismatic Berber musician Seddik Zebiri, The Seeds of Creation consistently charm audiences with their infectious mix of Berber rhythms, jazz and blues. It's music to dance to, filled with a driving energy and uplifting spirit!

Born in Algeria, Zebiri is a drummer and singer, but did not start to take music seriously until his late twenties. Brought up through war and revolution, Zebiri left Algeria for Paris in 1965 and was involved in the student movement of 1968. "I started drums because I wanted to get out of politics, I realised that if I carried on I was going to end up getting killed. And I don't believe in vengeance - the only blessed ideology is music".

***YAZ FENTAZI QUARTET***
(Blend of North African Jazz)

A wicked fusion of chaabi, Gnawa and jazz from this striking quartet, led by talented oud player Fentazi.

The Guardian has described Fentazis’ compositions as having “breadth and atmosphere, and his oud soloing, which recalls the drive and dynamism of world oud star Anouar Brahem, is often stunning.” (John Fordham - The Guardian)

Asya Satti is a Sudanese singer-songwriter based in London. Her musical style blends Soul, Blues and Jazz with a contemporary twist influenced by her Middle-Eastern and African upbringing.

Asya’s entrancing and soaring vocal is the perfect blend for her rhythmically tight and dynamic band which all make for an unmissable performance.
