Of course, we’re no strangers to ‘proper’ wedding receptions, but this is something else!

The Wedding Reception sees bride and groom Kate and Will expecting a small party to celebrate their wedding. But Kate’s parents have planned an altogether different affair – a surprise reception to remember. Cue uninvited guests, misbehaving family and secrets better left in the closet…

This unbeatable theatrical dining experience is a side-splitting piece of comedy theatre that comes complete with a 2-course dinner and cake for afters. So join the party. It’s immersive, highly improvised, and as interactive as the audience wants it to be, a rollercoaster ride full of fun, frolics, and more than a few surprises!

The Wedding Reception is an immersive comedy written and produced by Interactive Theatre International, an original piece that’s appeared in Raffles Singapore and Australia, and now plays regularly in London’s Covent Garden. In 2017 it’s touring the UK and Australia and appearing again for a full month at Edinburgh Fringe. It features four phenomenal actors in multiple madcap roles; the cast at Nambour RSL Club venue features Rebecca Norris, David Tremaine, James Heatlie and Katie Cooper.
