We have another great house concert coming up on Saturday, March 5th with Sin & Swoon.
Showtime is 8PM (Doors open at 7PM) Tickets are $25
Every year, when we go to folk festivals, we love to find a new act to spend our CD money on.
At Shelter Valley last year, we discovered this lovely new duo, called Sin & Swoon. Beautiful harmonies and stellar guitar playing are what grabbed us about these two!
Sin and Swoon – Rank #4 on Cult Montreal’s “Top 10 Best Country/Folk Acts”! Montreal’s “Sin and Swoon” is made up of Ottawa Valley native Michael James O’Brien and Antigonish, Nova Scotia’s Michelle Tompkins. They love George and Tammy, old time country music, and the harmony singing of the Louvin Brothers and the Delmore Brothers. They were recently featured on “The Vinyl Cafe´ with Stuart Maclean” on CBC radio and NPR (National Public Radio).
