We are very happy to welcome back Rick Fines and Roly Platt. We have enjoyed great shows with each of these performers in the past, but this time they'll be here together to double the musical fun!! Rick Fines is an engaging storyteller and songwriter. He has won MapleBlues Awards for Songwriter of the Year and Acoustic Act Of The Year (twice), won first place in the blues category of 2003 International Songwriting Competition, with B.B. King one of the judges, received nominations from both the Juno and the Handy Awards.
Roly Platt is a world-class harmonica player whose distinctive sound, versatility, and intuitive sense of “what works”, has elevated him to “first-call” studio harmonica player in the Canadian recording scene. Roly has been recorded on over 1500 individual album cuts, movie scores and national jingles and is now working on sessions from around the globe via his home studio. He is a two-time Maple Blues Nominee and his CD entitled Inside Out is outstanding. Our audience was blown away last time he was here and we can't wait to have him here again!
