We are delighted to be hosting one of the best loved characters from the electronic music scene in recent years: it’s the elder statesman of Japanese house music, and happiest chap in the biz, Soichi Terada.

In 2015, his career was reignited in tandem with his Asian counterpart, Hunee, with a stunning compilation of work released on Rush Hour: ‘Sounds From the Far East’. You may also know him as the producer behind the ridiculous jungle-inspired Ape Escape video game soundtrack from around 20 years ago.

Now, Terada is one of the most in-demand live artists on the circuit. At HiFi, he’ll be recreating the vintage New York house sounds of his early 90s productions (always laced with gorgeous melodic moments), while also smashing out killer versions of his more recent releases.

Don’t miss this rare sighting of a true dance music legend.

The resplendent selectors from Dimensions Soundsystem will be spinning tracks either side of Soichi’s full live set.
