Renowned trumpet and flugelhorn player Bryan Corbett returns to Fleece Jazz with his quartet of leading members of the Midlands jazz scene. Known for his lyrical tone and powerful stage presence, Bryan is not only a great performer of the jazz standards repertoire, but he is also an artist who pushes the boundaries. He has toured with Ben E King, US3, The Brand New Heavies, Tony Christie and Ruby Turner as well as with his own bands.
Al Gurr is an outstanding musician, arranging and producing as well as playing piano and bass. He has worked on a tribute to Stephane Grappelli.
Ben Markland is widely known and much admired, not only for his playing, but for his writing and arranging. He has a career that has seen him working with a wide range of well-known musicians.
Neil Bullock’s early career was in the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra and other local big bands, where he won many awards. Neil studied under Dave Brubeck's world-renowned drummer, Joe Morello. He has since played with an array of top performers and bands.
