A great local line-up will present a night of diversity and colour which kicks off at 7.30pm with the Mystery Performer.

Kangaroo Valley Musician Songwriter Andy Gordon will be joined by former Flying Emu lead man John Kane as well as Luke O’Neill and Murmer from Austinmer, adding colour to the night.

The cost of the night is $15 club members or $20 non members (You’d be a fool to yourself if you didn’t join as we have some great international acts coming up in the next month) All the facilities of the club are available - try the coffee shop and Bistro for dinner.

ANDY GORDON AND JOHN KANE

Kangaroo Valley songwriter and story teller Andy Gordon and John Kane will present the song cycle "New Albion" which explores the first contact between the Kameygal, Cammeraigal and the Gadigal people and the Europeans of the first fleet. A time of unprecedented hope and goodwill on all sides, before smallpox decimated the Sydney population and Arthur Phillip returned to England.

John Kane of course is well remembered as the anchor man in the great band, ‘The Flying Emus’.

LUKE O’NEILL AND MURMUR

Murmur is a groove based trio from Austinmer. The band play original music and covers influenced by their collective obsession with Brazilian and Latin American pop music. Their music has been described as 'groovy' 'gentle' and with a 'great vibe' (fb). Murmur were a great hit at last years Folk by the Sea Festival in Kiama. The band members are Luke O'Neill (guitar/vocals), David Gale (drums), Matt Dickson (Bass).
