It's Independent Venue Week time again, and we've got some proper treats lined up! TONIGHT, an up close and personal DJ Set from the intimate depths beneath the streets of Chelmsford!

BOOM! Raw U.K. punk duo Slaves were formed in 2013 in leafy Maidstone, Kent by guitarist Laurie Vincent and drummer Isaac Holman, both in their early twenties at the time. A uniquely British sound soon followed, inspired by (among others) Crass, Refused, and Joy Division, and somewhat comparable to the more modern acts Gallows and Iceage.

Tonight, the lads take us through their record collections and the music that inspires and influences them. Having collaborated with the likes of Beastie Boys' Mike D, expect a high octane, eclectic, dance floor destroying set!

The Horse Heads
A Chelmsford based punk band who never fail to deliver a loud and aggressive performances. Being championed by BBC Radio 6 and Steve Lamacq for their single 'Castles' (find on Spotify, Youtube etc), they will be releasing a new single 'Questions', working with the likes of Cool Thing Records.

Fresh Beats are back and will be parking their food shack out back with a whole heap of tasty veggie and vegan delights on the menu...come hungry!!
