GENETIX (UK)

Genetix is comprised of DJ/Producers Matt Sharp and Rich Dawson. They have been Djing since their early teens and have always had a keen ear for music. The dancefloor heavyweights started out producing in late 2006 after a 9 month course at South Devon college.

Having produced their fair share of D&B they decided to try their hands at Dubstep. Their debut production ‘Squid Attack’ caught the attention of the scene in a big way with support from the likes of Nero, Sub Focus, Flux Pavilion, Funtcase and Skrillex, amongst many others. The track was released on vinyl in December 2010. Funtcase also put his stamp on the track seeing a release on Circus records in 2013 along with Genetix's 'Bassline Business'. This year squid attack has undergone its third rework and has recieved huge support from fans and djs alike.

In 2013 Genetix set up their own label 'Big Tuna'. It has been a huge success. The label has seen continuous support from the mainstream DJs as well as airplay on Skream & Benga’s radio 1 show. The latest release featured a collaboration with Sadhu and held a beatport top ten position for over 2 weeks smashing many of the beatport exclusives.

Genetix have always raised the bar and their heavy dubstep productions and have seen numerous vinyl, cd and digital releases including tracks on circus records and ministry of sounds dubstep compilations.

Expect a face melting tear out set like few others.

BLANKFACE (USA)

Salar Saedi, a California native known by his better name of Blankface, has been running through the bass scene with his articulate sound since he began producing in late 2009. In 2013, Blankface and MAZE, Arthur Darbinyan, founded their label, Savage Society, an artist collective of young, divergent producers that are making heads turn within the bass community with their eminently dynamic sound.

Currently residing in Orange County, California, Blankface has been up to no good, plotting his most vicious attack on the bass scene, producing some of the most savage dubstep bass culture has ever heard. The 22-year-old gathers inspiration from artists, such as Coki, Jakes, Subfiltronik, and Kromestar, and utilizes his own skills and creative mind as his weapon of choice to muster an influential onslaught of tracks that riddle and inject shock stricken bodies with sub-bass. With support from 12th Planet, Cotti, Bukez Finezt, Shiverz, & many more, everyone will undoubtedly want to keep an eye, or an ear, out for this young and talented innovative producer.
