In their enduring lifespan, Indian formed in 1991 released three albums and two EP’s with Sound Records in 1996. They led the way in the use of emerging sound technology and melody, but always around the spine of a filthy unforgettable riff. Their debut album “Show me that Chihuahua again” was nominated for Irish album of the year by 'In Dublin'. It spawned four top 30 hit singles, “Assassination”,“Elvis & Spiders”,“Sugar Cube” and of course “So Cold”. These songs climbed the Irish charts and became anthems to the many fans around the country.

With appearances on 'The Late Late Show' and the 'Kelly' show, the "So Cold" video was nominated for an IRMA award for best video by Sligo's Ciaran Carty and the song reached No17 in the Irish charts. Indian toured together for over ten years, playing to packed venues, but the best gigs were always at home in Sligo, and 5th on Teeling will be no exception.

The return of one of Sligo’s most loved, stylish, polished, innovative, full on, iconic and original rock outfits for this one off intimate gig promises to be one of the musical highlights of the Summer.
