Within the extended 30 year anniversary GIANT³ SAND tour, the band, headed by Howe Gelb, has welcomed on stage many of the illustrious guests featured on the acclaimed latest release, “Heartbreak Pass”.

Jason Lytle’s highly recognizable production of the album’s first single track “Transponder” is also a result of a meaningful and long friendship between the two artists, which led to the natural idea before GIANT³ SAND comes to a close, of sharing the stage for a series of one-off co-headline performances presenting the music from both renowned artists.

Besides releasing the quintessential album “Heartbreak Pass” (New West Records) this year, an exclusive Vinyl Box Set of Giant Sand’s enormous catalogue is in the works through Fire America set for release in Spring 2016, who already made available most works of both Giant Sand and Howe Gelb solo, digitally and on CD.
