Lantana L.O.V.E. is a local voluntary group creating celebratory fund raising events for chosen charities. Heartfelt House is a wonderful local organisation supporting women, (and their friends and families), who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Please visit heartfelthouse.org.au for more information. Proceeds will also be donated to the Lismore Men and Family Centre for their work with male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. It has been observed since in the early 1900’s, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies. The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women’s and society’s thoughts about women’s equality and emancipation.
