Alex Ridha -- better known to the world as Boys Noize -- has been making electronic music and working as a DJ for more than half of his life. He established himself as one of the world’s preeminent wizards behind the decks, having played the world’s biggest stages alongside the biggest names in dance music. His sets are equally uplifting, not only technically but also as a showman, leaving unforgettable experiences for the witnesses. One of the reasons why the Rolling Stone voted Boys Noize amongst the Top-10 'DJs Who Rule the Earth' in 2012.

As a recording artist and producer, Ridha has created his own sound, and pioneered his own brand, amassing a formidable body of work in the process. He has released three albums and countless singles, as well as doing profoundly influential work as a remixer and producer for everyone from Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Feist, David Lynch to Jarvis Cocker, Santigold, Scissor Sisters and Chilly Gonzales.

Sound savant, underground ambassador, and techno wunderkind are three ways to describe DJ + producer PILO. Since the birth of his musical project, the Los Angeles native has been intent on bringing techno to the masses as an advocate of the genre in the US and beyond. With past releases on Turbo Recordings, collaborations with Sinden, Justin Jay, Harvard Bass, and most recently Boys Noize, PILO has since become a integral member of the BNR family.

Forms is a Pacific Northwest-based event series aimed at bridging the gap between the music we're currently most excited about and the timeless influences that paved the way for these sounds to flourish. Our mission is to explore not only the existing gamut of genres, but also the spaces in between, as well as the threads that connect influence and creation.
