Pablo Valentino é um talentoso DJ francês que se tem dedicado ao djing desde 1997 e conhecido sob o pseudónimo Creative Swing Alliance. Viajado e ávido coleccionador de música, Pablo torna os seus sets ecléticos misturando o melhor do Jazz, Funk, Boogie, Disco, House, Broken Beat e Hip Hop. Para ele o que importa é a “alma” da música, aquilo que a torna além fronteiras. Pablo é o fundador da Faces Records, conhecida por editar trabalhos de Motor City Drum Ensemble / Inverse Cinematics e da icónica MCDE juntamente Danilo Plessow que ganhou notoriedade com a série “Raw Cuts” – um clássico em qualquer dj set, independentemente do género. Ambas as labels editaram já material de qualidade de artistas tais como Motor City Drum Ensemble, L’Aroye, The Revenge, Simbad, Mono/Poly, RedNose Distrikt, Kira Neris, Grooveman Spot e o Creative Swing Alliance Project.

Pablo Valentino is a talented French DJ from East France and has been DJing since 1997. A well travelled and very knowledgeable music collector, Pablo loves to play across the board be it Jazz / Funk, Boogie / Disco, House / Broken Beat to Hip Hop, if it has soul there are no boundaries as Pablo creates unique musical patterns as he explores music with feeling and soul past, present and future. Pablo is the founder of FACES Records – featuring releases from Simbad and Danilo Plessow’s Motor City Drum Ensemble/Inverse Cinematics aliases – and releasing 12”s under his Creative Swing Alliance, Kid Swing and Hipster Wonkaz pseudonyms. Not content with that Pablo also co-runs the already iconic and buy-on-sight MCDE imprint with Danilo and is an influential component in the label gaining notoriety and cult status with its ‘Raw Cuts’ series – ubiquitous in many a DJ’s set regardless of genre. Both labels release ‘quality’ and not ‘quantity’ from such artists as Motor City Drum Ensemble, L’Aroye, The Revenge, Simbad, Mono/Poly, RedNose Distrikt, Kira Neris, grooveman Spot and his own Creative Swing Alliance Project.

Nascido na Rússia e residente em Londres, DJ Vadim construiu uma sólida reputação como um dos melhores produtores independentes do mundo, viajando por esse mundo fora actuando, colaborando com talentosos artistas (uns já estabelecidos e outros em ascensão) e cruzando continentes, idiomas e culturas. Em 1994, Vadim fundou a sua editora independente Jazz Fudge e assinou com a Ninja Tune no ano seguinte. Assim começou a sua aventura que comemorou já duas décadas e que já o levou a percorrer 68 países e a actuar mais 2500 vezes.
É difícil caracterizar o estilo de Vadim: o seu repertório engloba hip hop, trip hop, soul, funk, grime, reggae, dub and bass e produziu inúmeros álbuns a solo e em grupo dentro destes géneros (na Ninja Tune, Jazzfudge, Wordsound, BBE) com faixas icónicas como "The Terrorist", "Black is the night" e "Bluebird". Ao longo da sua carreira, trabalhou com um sem-número de artistas, tais como: DJ Krush, Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Prince, Public Enemy, Dilated Peoples, Kraftwerk, Sly and The Family Stone, Fat Freddy’s Drop, e Super Furry Animals e regressa ao Plano B no próximo dia 8 de Dezembro.

Born in Russia and based in London, Dj Vadim has built for himself a solid reputation as one of the best independent producers in the world, travelling across the globe collaborating with talented artists (some already established, some about to bloom) and crossing continents, languages and cultures. In 1994 he founded his indie label Jazz Fudge and signed for Ninja Tune on the year after throwing his 20+ year career in the spotlight.
It’s difficult to tag his style just under one genre: his repertoire can include genres as hip hop, trip hop, soul, funk, grime, reggae, dub and bass and across his long career, he has collaborated with artists such as DJ Krush, Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Prince, Public Enemy, Dilated Peoples, Kraftwerk, Sly and The Family Stone, Fat Freddy’s Drop, e Super Furry Animals.
