Jokes Please! is an award-winning stand-up comedy show that happens every Thursday at LMG.

Hitchhiking is a direction based activity. Going in the same direction? Go together as two strangers AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS! Then the direction of conversation will determine whether you two become chit chat pals or if the car will suddenly “need” gas and pull into the nearest, most desolate truck stop.

Direction is quite changeable. You see the conversation is sliding too near US politics for a fun evening, you can cry out, “My SPLEEN IS RUPTURING, I think.” Now you’re in a new direction, straight to the hospital where you’ll explain that perhaps you were mistaken and to please treat the actual sickies. But far away from the other place you were headed where everyone's heart starts to break, phew!
