Party: Fundraising Event for the Russell Family - Not For Profit - In Memory of Mitchell Russell

On Friday 19th December, the Darwin community suffered what can only be described as a tragic and unexpected loss with the sad passing of DJ/Producer Mitch Russell aka DJ Rfaktr in a fatal motor vehicle accident.

This talented performer was known not only for being one of Darwin’s most respected RnB DJs but was also a member of the local hip hop group DT3.

DT3 have gained notoriety over the last 12 months with the release of their single “Fatal Attraction“ as well as having played support to Aussie Hip Hop royalty Illy and the Hill Top Hoods.


On Friday the 2nd of January 2015, DT3 will be holding a fundraising event with all proceeds going directly to the Russell family.

This event will be held between the hours of 10pm and 2am at Discovery Darwin with all staff and management donating their time on the evening. Entry to the event will be by donation at the door.

This event will be open to the general public and we invite all to take part in an evening that we hope will not only be a fitting memorial to Mitch but also ease a little of the financial burden for the Russell family.

Discovery will be opened specifically for this event only and all proceeds will go directly to the Russell family.
