Party: Droitwich Gentle Chance to Dance (75+)

Thursdays 2-3pm, Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre, Briar Mill, WR9 0RZ

Starts 14 September and runs for 12 weeks.

A movement session for people aged 75+, or for younger people wanting a gentle class.

It will be led by Marie Oldaker. Marie has lots of experience and has been teaching Chance to Dance classes in Eckington and at Pershore Number 8 for several years.

This new class is a slightly gentler version of our popular weekly classes. Dancefest’s Chance to Dance classes target flexibility, coordination and balance, with exercises and routines from different dance styles. All the dances can be adapted to suit, and can be danced sitting on a chair. The sessions will be based around fun and fitness, at a pace that suits the group, and dancers can stop and catch their breath whenever they need to. It’ll combine some upbeat dance exercises with gentler pieces and use all sorts of musical styles, so there should be something for everyone.
