Joe Sabatino (puppeteer and puppet builder for PBS Kids, Disney, and The Jim Henson Co.) is teaching a FREE workshop on the mechanics of performing hand/rod puppetry for stage and television.

Topics include:

Body and mouth manipulation
Lipsync
Stage focus
Monitor work
Solo and group performances
Music
Improvisation
Come and join a group of Philadelphia's premier puppetry performers for a day of fun and silliness. This workshop is designed to create an enjoyable environment for ANYONE who is interested in learning puppetry skills that can be translated directly onto stage or screen.

This will be an opportunity to learn, while also showcasing your skills for consideration to participate in future puppet performance projects.

Prerequisite: Level 3 improv training or minimum 1 year performance experience
