The response to the flashmob workshops with Michael and Amy Shibasaki at the June and July BCSDC dances was gratifying, and beyond our expectations. Unfortunately, the lessons were not able to complete the entire choreography in one hour, and people have been asking if we would be offering another workshop to complete the choreography.
Due to this popular demand the Club is happy to present one more educational opportunity for you to learn the complete flashmob choreography in a special pair of workshops with Michael and Amy from 2:00-4:00 on July 29.
The first one hour workshop, at 2:00, will cover sections A & B of the choreography, which is how far the workshops at both the June and July dances got. If you missed the workshops at our dances then this will get you caught up. Or you just might want to repeat these sections to reinforce what you have already learned.
The second one hour workshop, at 3:00, will cover sections C & D, and then drill the entire choreography with any remaining time.
You do not need a partner for these workshops; we will be doing our usual workshop rotation of partners. We highly encourage you to find a partner soon, though ... perhaps you will find one in the rotation!
You can attend either or both of the workshops. The cost:
BCSDC Members: one workshop $10, both $15.
Non-members: one wokshop $15, both $25.
