Scottish born Millar Jukes and his vagabond band The Bandits have recently released their second EP, ‘CHASE THE SUN’ and have been consistently winning new fans in response to an authentic Americana inspired sound.

Millar Jukes is from “a wee town outside of Glasgow, Scotland” and he moved to Melbourne three years ago with his Aussie girlfriend, quickly finding a band and immersing himself in the local scene. Millar is from a highly competitive musical family (his two brothers are in a very popular band back in Scotland called Vigo Thieves) which he says “has served as fuel for my musical ambitions.”

With a ‘new vintager’ sound, Millar has been playing stages dusty and polished and supporting bands big and small along the way.

Produced by ARIA winning Paul Mckercher and recorded at Sing Sing Studios, Millar Jukes' sophomore release includes four tracks including the title track and first single 'Chase the Sun’. A little taste of alt/country Americana with a fine pop sensibility, the single was launched to the wild applause of a sweaty and enthusiastic crowd at the Workers Club in Melbourne.

Millar Jukes and his band continue to gain momentum and are excited to announce a date at iconic Sydney venue ‘The Vanguard’, on 11 February, 2016.

Supporting on the night are Sydney favourites ‘Little Big Wolf’.
