Leah Senior’s melancholic music is sending ripples across the Australian folk scene. Recently signed to Flightless (King Gizzard and Lizard Wizard) and Remote Control she is set to release her debut album “Summer’s On The Ground” in November. She is celebrating this release with two very special shows, one in Melbourne and then at The Vanguard.
Leah’s first single “The City is A Stream” received high praise from HAPPY earlier this year.
“This song is subtly astounding yet delicate and vocally intimate. It’s almost like Leah is whispering secrets to you over a hot chocolate in a city coffee shop. The City is a Stream is beautifully haunting and it’s times like this that Australia can have a pat on the back for producing such elegant music.”
Renowned songwriter Hannah Crofts of All Our Exes Live in Texas will be supporting at The Vanguard- a show not to be missed.
