Holy Moly & The Crackers
Holy Moly & The Crackers are a seven-piece ‘gypsy folk n roll’ band from the UK. They released their debut album ‘First Avenue’ in October 2012 and an EP ‘Lilly’ a year later – described as “a re-imagining of three traditional folk/blues songs that evokes eras of whiskey and guns on modern punk folk steroids”. Their newest single ‘A Punk Called Peter’ (2015) is “a sort of New Orleans funeral march mixed with some fine and highly danceable reggae”. Tracks from the album and EP have been played by Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing and leading music critic Mike Harding.
They are making an impact on both the national and international tour circuit; they have played well over 200 shows throughout the UK, including sell out concerts in London, the Midlands, Yorkshire, Newcastle and Edinburgh. In October 2013 the band toured internationally in Europe, and they just recently returned from a tour in France in July 2015. The band has performed at major festivals across the country, including shows at Hop Farm Festival, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown and Cornbury Festival, where they opened for Jools Holland.
Holy Moly and the Crackers are influenced by an eclectic range of styles and artists - the honest grit and gravel of Woody Guthrie, the gypsy bone-cage burlesque of Gogol Bordello: punk, ska, reggae, folk, blues, honky-tonk, Balkan etc. As such they play a unique mash-up of folk/blues, waltz tempos and hoe-downs and french zazou in outlandish carnival style. It is loud, funky and fun.

Dry White Bones
The Dry White Bones is a band that's been riding shotgun a long while.
Now, having wrestled control of the reins, Dry White Bones is gunning for fresh territory.
Smith & Lane have ridden side by side over hills and through valleys for too many years...spinning yarns and weaving dreams in too many bands, drinking too much beer at too many shows.
Smith (main songwriter) & Lane(emerging) sat face to face up against the bar of the White Hart. History, Guinness and a mobile phone between them, they listened to the rough sketching’s of Smith's latest roomy grooves.
They had been here before, only this time the timing was right.
Recruitment debate was short. There could only be one choice….. Gibson.
Gibson, Smith & Lane had rolled together on and off over the years. Everyone knows Gibson is bad-ass.
Lane had heard about a new kid in town...Kelly. A cool cat that cut a sharp shadow. Measured and strait up funky.
The perfect 4th gun.
Over the course of a few weeks, Gibson, Kelly, Smith & Lane holed up in a haunted loft space above a boozer. In amongst junk, bric a brac, a moody boiler and a violent, short-tempered beer cooler, the clang boom strumming steam and funk gumbo groove took shape. After a final push, it came slopping in to existence, the back-street birth of…Dry White Bones.
