Para One (Ed Banger Records)이 지난해 Cakeshop에서 아주 헤비한 파티로 무대를 뒤흔들었다. 우리는 1월 1일 다시 한번 그의 귀환을 볼것이다.

클럽음악 장르에 구애받지 않고 플레이 하는 것으로 유명한 파라원은 프랑스에 레전드 랩그룹 TTC 음악을 먼저 프로듀싱 했었다. 많은 TTC의 음반 참여는 물론이며, 큰 유명세를 탄 “Dans Le Club” 이란 트랙 또한 그의 프로듀싱 작품이다.
그시점에서 하우스, 일랙트로닉, IDM 등 더많은 장르로 활발히 활동하며, 2003년 첫 솔로 앨범을발매했다.
2005년 발매한 Beat Down EP 로 더욱 유명세를 타게된다. Epiphine LP 에서발매된 “Dudun-Dun” 곡은 Boys Noize, Mstrkrft 등 많은 아티스트들이 리믹스를했다.
그후엔 Daft Punk “The Prime time of Your Life” 와 Ellen Allien “Down”의 곡들에 그의 컬러를 나타내며 첨차 많은 리믹스 요청을 받는다.
Institubes 에 등장하며, Para One 은 Surkin,Bobmo 과 함께 Marble Music 만들었고, 2012년에는 그의 두번째 앨범을 발표했고, Passion 은 힙합, 하우스, 펑크, 글리치 힙합 그리고 Cakeshop에서 중심으로 자주 등장했던 더 많은 장르를 모두 느낄수 있는 앨범이 되었다. Big Beat 레코드에서 지난 해 발표한 그의 가장 최신 앨범 ‘Club’은 클럽에서 최대의 임팩트를 만들어내는 클럽 뮤직과 파티에서의 유명곡이 되어, 역시 우리를 실망시키지 않았다.

올해 그는 전설적인 Ed Banger와 함께 재결합하여 Todd Edwards, Gener8ion, Boston Bun이 리믹스를 맡고 남아프리카 청소년 합창단이 피쳐링한 가스펠-하우스 노래인 ‘Elevation’ EP를 발매하기에 이른다.
엄청난 이노베이터와 파리 뮤직 씬의 대부라고부를수있는 Para One 의 내한공연을 드디어 오는 1월 1일 케이크샵 서울에서 만나볼 수 있다.

Para One always absolutely destroys his sets at Cakeshop for a very heavy party. Friday the 1st sees his return.

Well known for being a pioneer of genre mixing in the club, he began his career producing with legendary French rap group TTC. He was the producer of their classic track,’ Dans Le Club’ and played a large part in much of their music catalogue. From here, he blasted off into multiple directions and styles from house, electro, IDM and more, releasing his first solo album, the classic Beat Down EP in 2003 on Institubes. In 2005 he absolutely blew up with his single ‘Dudun-Dun’, which was remixed by everyone from Boys Noize to Mstrkrft. Since then, he has flipped huge remixes requested from everyone from Daft Punk on ‘The prime time of your life’ to Ellen Allien’s ‘Down’.
Moving on from Institubes, Para One joined forces with Surkin and Bobmo to form Marble music and in 2012 released his second album, Passion, a smooth mix of hip-hop, house, funk, soul, glitch-hop.
Last year Para One released, 'Club' on Big Beat records, a celebration of club music and partying created for maximum club impact.
