Shane started his performing career at an early age after graduating from the Ensemble Theatre, acting in Feature Films and Television Series. He was headlining in Sydney Clubs in his early 20’s.

Shane returned to Australia in 2015 following 10 years working as a Guest Entertainer and Principal Musician on some of the Worlds’ largest Cruise Ships, and most prestigious 5 star Hotels in the U.S, Europe and Asia.

During his time on Ships, Shane took up the offer to be support act for Sheryl Crow on her “Cruisin’ Tour”, and was supported by the Original Drifters whilst onboard.

Since his return to Australia he has been in high demand both as a Solo performer, and as 50% of Platinum and Blackbird Duos with his wife, Kath Tapper.

Shane’s versatility is incredible! He’s at home playing everything from intimate hotel lobbys to cruise ship pubs/nightclubs & fully produced stage shows. He packs his venues every night & leaves the audience with a memorable experience.
