SCM is an italian dj/producer based in Berlin
Maurizio Schirò, his real name, born in Sicily in the south of Italy in 1988. Lovers and collector of vinyl influenced by Jazz, Soul, Funk and sounds of Detroit he began his productions trying to give a retro and innovative vision combining all of that with his love for House music
He started working on his own original productions using a computer and samples, but gradually his love for warm and dusty sounds grew up turning into a maniacal interest for analogues and old machines.
After several releases as Momis in collaborations with his cousin Richeart for italian label ‘Mozzarella records’ like ‘Tempo’, ‘707 Lovers’ and ‘Where is Delta’ for 'Dish of the Day Records’ SCM now come back with his dirty house founding together with Richeart a new label “Basement Night Feeling Sound” expression of their underground roots.
