The members of the international SANDER BAAN QUARTET are all active in different ensembles in the Netherlands and Germany. With this group their individual voices are combined to perform original compositions. Their contemporary conception of jazzmusic is by defined by mesmerizing melodies, rich harmonies and plenty of space for improvisations. Influences range from Wayne Shorter and pop music to Indian classical music.
